Hi!
I'm originally from Enfield/Halifax, now living in Moncton. I've kept all sorts of finned things, and have a soft spot for the ugly/deformed/unwanted ones, which at one point escalated to ~28 rescue bettas in my bedroom. I've been out of the hobby for a couple of years due to itchy feet, but I'm fairly settled in NB now and share a 17 gallon FW planted tank with my roommate (various corys, cardinals, and two honey gouramis), and keep a male CT betta in a 5g. I've setting up a 15g planted growout tank, and am salvaging bits for a decent breeding setup. I'd like to try bettas, seeing as I just found some pretty crowntail females at Aqua Creations, but I have yet to make housing arrangements for the fry, so maybe it won't happen. Or I might try gouramis or corys.. something to keep me busy anyways.
I'll post some pictures when I get home, visiting in Halifax ATM.

Sounds like you have a nice planted tank set-up.
