guppies rescue

Hey guys i just got an email from an older couple. and they have a 10gal tank with about 75+ guppies and fry. they cant handle the tank anymore and they were going to flush them. im picking them up tonight but i definatly cant have that many fish in a 10 gal so anyone that in the sydney are that wants some guppies conact me asap. i need to find these guys a home as soon as possible!!!!

That's too bad you are just a wee bit far. I know a few people in the city would like to have them.

i did this rescue and man there was alot of guppies probably near 75 or so. ive found at least half of them a home so far. and i have a few more lined up i think. but anyone in the club that wants them just gimme a pm.

I've got 9 of them, and they settled into my tank with my tetras just fine! Three are males and they're so beautiful, they really light up my tank. :)

I wish I was nearer, I'd take them off your hands. I always have room for guppies.

Too bad your aren't closer. My 10 gallon is looking sparse. Glad to hear you rescued them though. I can't believe people still think it is okay to flush a live fish.

I agree, which means we need to get out to the local stores and educate
