Nothing yet. I even asked that they email me back if he was gone. But no response yet.

i hate when you get no reply either way would put your mind at ease

He just emailed me back. Will be going to get him tomorrow afternoon.

I asked him why he was getting rid of him too. He said it was because he is nipping the Blue Rams fins. He said he was healthy and has never had any health issues with him, but he will be going into QT for a week or 2 either way. I will post a pic of him once i get him home. Thanks for posting the link C.

We finally got around to getting a couple pics of the Checker Barb we picked up from this add. He is in the QT tank to make sure he is healthy before we put him in the Barb tank.

Thanks. He is cool looking, I like the colors on him. He seems to be getting brighter by the day too. I am sure he will enjoy living in the Barb tank. He can see it from where he is and I think he is jealous. :)

:lol!: I bet he is wondering why he can't go in there now.

I tried explaining it to him, but he got upset and went and hid in his sunken ship, sulking like a little baby. So I said, fine, you want to be like that you will stay here for 2 weeks instead of just 1.
I told him that if he drops the attitude he may get out early for good behavior. :)

This guy has been in the Barb tank for a few weeks now after his QT. He is the only Checker Barb in the tank and he doesn't seem to overly excited about schooling with the other Barbs, he usually hangs by himself. He does play with the others once in awhile, but he is more of a bottom swimmer then the others, so I asked the manager at PU to order in 4 more Checkers so he can have some friends to school with. They should be in next weekend hopefully. They will get a 2 week QT then be introduced into the Barb tank with him. I just feel bad that he's all by himself in there, all the others Barbs school together without any issue. The Melon Barbs try to school with him to make him feel more comfortable but he's not to into them.

Glad to hear that Steve! He'll soon be going to school too but since missed the previous term, it's gonna be a summer school now. :)
Seriously, so happy to hear this rescue is a success. Am glad you got him as I know he's in good hands. :cheers:
