A Pat on the Back...
I have been contacted by a person in the New Glasgow area a few times about fish looking for homes. I think he's also contacted fishysmith a couple of times too. This last time, he sent me a note to let me know the fish had found homes and this was his reply. Always happy to hear good things!

That's great! Always nice to hear. Also reminded me to re-post the rescue ad in Cape Breton!
Re: A Pat on the Back...
I just reposted mine in the Bridgewater area today. It's good to hear that the fish rescue is helping fish find good homes. :D

Re: A Pat on the Back...
Yay! That is great!! Good job guys!! :D
There are some places with no ads...is there anyone who wouldn't mind writing some up for us in the areas that there are none?
We don't have anything for...
- Annapolis Valley -- needs both fish rescue, and join TACONS
- Cape Breton doesn't have an advertisement (join TACONS -- its free!! thing), they do have a fish rescue ad. (TY Teek!)
- Halifax needs the same as Cape (I will write that up later for us. :) )
- New Glasgow needs both fish rescue, and join TACONS
- Truro needs the join TACONS ad
- Yarmouth needs both fish rescue, and join TACONS
If anyone wouldn't mind writing some up, or reposting them once they are expired, I am sure future members, and people looking for homes for their fish would really appreciate it! :D
Great job once again to all of those who have helped! :D

BL - be careful with the "join us" ads... kijiji does not look too kindly on "solicitation ads" such as those. We can get away with doing what Teeka does by adding the link to the Rescue ads and encouraging people to visit us that way, but any ads directly aimed at trolling for membership can (and likely will) be reported to kijiji and they will remove them with a note to you.

Thanks Chesley. I check to make sure that it remains on the first page of the searches for "fish" and "aquarium". If you ever notice that it has dropped from there, feel free to copy what I have on it and repost so it stays first and foremost. :D

I think it should be fine for the community section/activities,groups. (An ad for the TACONS website). Ad could use key words like fish/aquarium/tank. There's lots of solicitation type ads in that section.

That's a good idea CW. I just know that other times that it has been in the pets section, they deleted it with a mild smack on the wrist to the poster :)

Yeah, it wouldn't be going in the pets...I can see that being deleted with good reasons. In the groups it should be fine...if aquarium is searched, it will come up with anything and everything with aquarium in the title. And it would still be easy to find too. :)
