I love when they say things like this "make me a offer some trades accepted
" And yet the title says "soon-goin-to-green-bin" Why would he just not give them away? :)

Wow, gotta love titles like that, huh? If he doesnt want them that bad and can't give them away, there is always the pet store.

Yeah I know that's why I posted. I mean why ask for some money or trade of you're going to throw them out? Just offer them for free, there's tons of people that would love to give them a good home I'm sure.

Exactly, he obviously wanted to pull some heart strings though and get a better deal for himself or have more leverage with a trade. He knows someone will do almost anything not to let those fish die a senseless death.

Well, messaged this guy and offered that if he ever makes trips to Dartmouth I would take them for him and this is what I got back:

come get them, I finally got everyone's attention now, after 6 months i got 14 email today.no cant deliver sorry

So if anyone can help these fish, or if someone is going to truro way, it looks like they are still available.

Wow. Maybe if he wanted rid that badly he shoulda just advertised them for free. Seems cranky that people actually want them now.

What a muppett

A muppett is not the word I used when I got that email, but it will suffice for now, lol. But I agree, instead of offering for trade, give them away. I replied back and told him if the 13 other people wouldn't take them, then bring them to the pet store.

You must have a lot of huge tanks Douglas, you seem to be taking a lot of free fish lately. Good for you.

There's another in Dartmouth tonight saying he needs his fish gone soon due to lack of air and water? Crazy. See the link if interested.

Chelsey, if you emailed him now, you would probably get a response out of him. He seems to be going through his list of emails.

Hey Doug, forget the aquariums and get some Walmart pools!. Could be a bit of a challenge to keep in the house. LOL

haha...nice pic....back to the thread then.....the person who had the ad on kijiji for the piranhas and severums informed me that he was refilling his tank back up. they had little water because they were in a bucket waiting to be picked up by a no show. i was concerned because they used to be my severums. but they are fine now and still waiting for new homes if someone is interested.
